Being Back

Well, I, like so many others, found it very weird to be back in clinic. It is hard to take 4 months off and then get back into the swing of things. I had to remember how to hold my instrument, what angles to use, which end of the instrument to use, etc. I am glad that I did have a day to reorient myself before I have to see a patient. Though it was nice to have that opportunity, I can still say that I don't feel quite ready to see a patient again. I am very nervous about going to the VA, even though everyone has said that it was a wonderful experience.
