LAST DAY OF CLINIC!!!!

I got my sealant PE and airpowder polisher PE done this am. It was very nice. I didn't even have to redue any of the sealants and the child was 6 years old. I was very happy with things. My afternoon pt made me a little nervouse because I felt like the only reason she was here was to find out about the program not because she wanted her teeth cleaned. It was okay and I got through the morning.
My peer pal was with me this afternoon and I was grateful that she was. It is nice when you have someone to help you chart. I really liked having her here, but xrays did make me a little nervous. I don't really like taking them anyway, and on top of that my peer pal is the TA for her class. She really knows what she is doing. I was happy that I didn't need to retake any xrays!!!!! The cleaning went well and I was happy for my patient. Class V and nice man.
All in all-- Good way to end the semester!!!!

The Last Day Of VA

Today went well. I really wanted something to go smoothly. I wasn't thinking that I would have an extra patient seated in my chair in the morning. My first patient was very kind, easy to work on, and ended up being one quad of a III. My second patient was brought over by the dentist and I was able to get his perio charting done and one quad of a class III. It was great.
My afternoon was not suppose to be a patient becuase one cancelled but someone came in. He had been cleaned just 2 weeks earlier. There was some confusion with the scheduling. I was able to perio chart him, though, because it was not in the system at all. I then just polished and flossed. He was nice guy and it was an easy afternoon.
Very good day!!!

Great Day!!!

I loved my patient today. I was so grateful for her. She is here from Texas for the holiday and was the cutest thing. I really enjoyed my time with her and I was able to speak to her a lot about her OH. I felt that I really had a good impact on her. She asked me a lot of questions and I really felt like I was able to answer all of them and answer them well. She also ended up being 1 quad of a class III and 3 quads of a V. I was really excited for the qualifications as well.
What a great way to end things before the holiday!!!!
